The second visit of the monitoring technician appointed by the European Commission took place on 22 and 24 February 2021.
In December 2020, the researchers of the Department of Environmental Science and Policy began the measurement and monitoring tests of ammonia and dust at the Bianchi farm located in Tavazzano con Villavesco, Lodi.
Between June and July 2020, the project noticeboards were delivered to all project partners and to the farms hosting project activities in both Italy and Spain.
On October 2nd 2020, the wet acid scrubber has been installed in the first host farm in Catalonia.
Finally, the LIFE-MEGA field activity resumes: on June 10th, a first field inspection was carried out at the Cascina Antegnatica farm.
On 17 February 2020, the first monitoring visit on the LIFE-MEGA project took place in Milan.
During the kick-off conference of the LIFE-MEGA project the topic discussed were related to the problem of poor air quality in pig farms and the technologies foreseen.
