In December 2020, the researchers of the Department of Environmental Science and Policy (University of Milan) began the measurement and monitoring tests of ammonia and dust at the Bianchi farm located in Tavazzano con Villavesco, Lodi. Ammonia is detected by a Draeger handheld device, while the PM10 concentration is measured using the Haz Dust EPAM 5000 device. Measurements are carried out both in the control room and in the rooms where the wet scrubber and the dry filter have been installed, in order to test the abatement effectiveness of the two different systems.
